Analysis and Evaluation of Documentation on Real Vehicle Damage after Minor Traffic Accidents

Diploma thesis analyzes documentation recieved from city magistrates,insurance companies or directly from police,concerning minor accidents. Documentation consists of a road accident reports,photodocumentation and plans of a real life collision sites,filed by the police and its experts. Analysis of this documentation and its consequent evaluation shows the extend of the damage occuring to an actual vehicles involved in a minor road accidents and what evidence left on site by these collisions. Informations gained from the analysis could be used as a guide when processing an insurance claim.

This thesis comprehensively covers the concept of procedure of examination of a traffic accident location by the police and its subsequent documentation in order to maximize the data and materials objectification. The thesis pursue to describe each step taken while investigating a traffic accident, as well as provides an overview of processing the facts collected and the measurements taken at the scene. Furthermore, a summary of each type of clue and damages occurring in the causality with traffic accidents is provided.

Restoration Information System ResIS comprehensive documentation of the physical condition of rare library holdings

In comprehensive thesis are characterized particular collections of photographic documentation of historical library holdings which were found during the survey of secondary image information. The possibilities of documentation use from different time periods are mentioned during restoration works, conservation surveys and in specific cases of damage or total loss of the original. In detail are described essential factors affecting the quality of image recording and typical types of photographic documentation on so-called surrogates, which are under selective digitization incorporated into the digital archive of Restoration information system ResIS. Other part of thesis is devoted to the methodology of digitizing the photographic documentation on surrogates, which includes the building up archival organizing system. In part of analysis are mentioned the most important metadata formats for the description of historical written monuments and their field of application. The mapping of selected TEI P5 ENRICH metadata elements into the proposed hierarchical structure was solved in order to create new TEI_RESIS format. There is also a description of equipment, types of lighting and taking photos in each type. The purpose of thesis is to be helpful during taking photos in archaeology. It also mentions problems which can appear during this documentation and suggests suitable solution.

Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing.

The Bachelor Thesis ``Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing`` focuses on the use of this method in the nursing practice. The theoretical part characterises the nursing process and the medical documentation within the scope of which the photographic documentation would be used. Another part of the present state focuses on the photographic documentation method and its benefits in practice, describes terms and aids for the suitable keeping of photographic documentation. Further, it lists possibilities of use and knowledge obtained from foreign literature. An interesting aspect in the keeping of photographic documentation is using the informed consent. Examples of the practical use of photographic documentation are presented in the last chapter of the theoretical part. Three objectives are set for the research part. The first one concerns the use of photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, the second objective is to find out nurses{\crq} opinions of incorporating about photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, and the third objective of the thesis focuses on clients{\crq} opinions in the keeping of photographic documentation. To evaluate the objectives, five research hypotheses were created that focus on the benefits of the use of photographic documentation in the nursing process, whether nurses have met with this method in professional journals and whether photographic documentation is used as a motivation means for the nursing practice. Hypotheses laid down for clients focus on the agreement with creating photographic documentation and whether they see benefits of keeping this method. The methodology was laid down by means a quantitative research investigation, which consists in handing out anonymous questionnaires for nurses and inquiries for clients in selected surgery, intern and dermatology departments in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of the research investigation was conducted in the Microsoft Excel 2007 programme in the form of graphs that were used in the results. After evaluating the results, the proposals for practice consist in the technical training of nurses - specialists on the photographic documentation and in the education of the broad medical and non-professional public on this method.
